In this wide-ranging anthology the author has followed up his first collection, The Paddington Band (2023), with a selection of poems and prose covering four broad themes – travel and places, encounters with nature, getting old, and human affairs and social matters which occupy the authors mind. Selections from a wide range of authors, from William Blake to George Orwell and from John Clare to W B Yeats, are interspersed with the author’s own thoughtful and often moving poems.
